The Newspaper Office Building is a comprehensive set that challenges your patience and precision with its massive 3722-piece count. I spent the last week assembling this anniversary set to see how its construction and detail hold up against standard modular building kits.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality is surprisingly robust, with each of the thousands of pieces snapping together with consistent tension. The structural integrity of the multi-story design is impressive, ensuring that once the office is completed, it remains a stable display piece rather than a fragile model.
Day-to-Day Experience
Assembling this set is a multi-day commitment that requires a dedicated workspace given its expansive footprint. The inclusion of 25 figures provides a great sense of life and scale to the office interior, making the final reveal highly satisfying for any hobbyist.
This set is ideal for adult builders or teens who crave intricate, large-scale projects and value high figure counts for creative play or display.
